Nara Visitors Bureau offers a variety of services to ensure the success of your event. Our very experienced staff tailors their help according to the size and type of event being planned and works to ensure the satisfaction of both the organizers of the event as well as those who attend.
When in the planning stage
Introducing potential venues and availability
The planning stage begins with listening to the needs and desires of potential event organizers. After the initial hearing session, we introduce public venues available throughout Nara Prefecture to the client and check the availability of each place.
Arranging a visit to the actual venue
We help schedule a time to visit the actual venue being considered. If requested, we can also accompany the client when visiting the venue.
Promotional Tools
We can provide photos and video materials about Nara to be used for presentation or advertising the event. When introducing Nara’s charm be sure and take advantage of this resource.
Preparation for the event
Financial Aid
Depending on the size of the convention being planned, both international and domestic, it is possible to apply for financial aid. We can supply the aid necessary to make the event satisfying for both the organizers and the attendees.
Audio Equipment and Panel Fixture Rental
We can connect you with local rental companies to supply your audio and poster panel needs. We can take care of all the staging.
Promotional Tools
We can provide you with any photos and videos of Nara that you need for posters or advertisements on your homepage. When introducing the charm of Nara be sure and take advantage of this resource.
Maps Available
We make maps and tourist information available in order to help people enjoy sightseeing while attending a convention in Nara.

Attractions and Excursions
The Nara Visitors Bureau is available for consultations regarding attractions and excursions. We can direct you to several excursion courses with excellent content. Feel free to inquire for more details.
Catering
We can introduce you to very experienced caterers in Nara.
Drink Service
We will introduce you to catering companies operating in Nara. The Bureau’s volunteer staff may be available to help with the drink corner.
Shuttle Bus Arrangements
The Bureau can help with shuttle bus arrangements. Feel free to inquire.
Volunteer staff available
Depending on the size of the event, we can make arrangements to have volunteer staff available. ( some travel and other expenses will be required )
Tourism Guide Desk
We can arrange to have a local tourist information desk set up at the convention for a minimal cost. We can also arrange to have English speaking staff available. Feel free to inquire for more details.
Local Products and Souvenirs
We can supply your event with local products and souvenirs representative of Nara.

Signage Support
If the convention lasts for two or more days, full or partial financial aid is available to cover the costs of a sign in front of the venue and a sign hung above the stage inside the venue during the event.

Other Material Support
We offer plastic bags for convention materials and two souvenir photo sets, “Nara’s Four Seasons” (scenery) and “Nara Yamatoji” (Buddhist statues) to all attendees for no extra cost.
